Paul Gross embodied the All-Canadian hero in Mountie Constable Brenton Fraser, who gets transplanted to the mean streets of Chicago and always gets his man.

Due South celebrates the best of the Canadian spirit and frankly clarified our own unique Canadian identity to the world & ourselves!!!
It did with humour (not humor) and sharp wit......LOVE THE SHOW....have all the showas on DVD & I often encourage friends unfamiliar with the show to watch! Paul Haggis & Paul Gross shoul take it one step further & have FRAZER +US cop+Quebec cop triangle.....they are clever enought o pull it off & I have lived in Montreal. Toronto & Ottawa & believe me there is enough material & it would be immensely entertaining .....a bit of BON COP BAD COP & FRAZER in Due South....It would do a great service to Canadian unity to view the whole situation with humor...to celebrate our uniqueness, parallel sentiments or differences through a witty tongue in cheek dialogue.....sending out a challenge to Paul Gross & Paul Haggis and of course Jewison should direct !!!

Due South showed our Canadian funny bone and gave us a profile that is not hard
to live with. I know a Canadian who quickly
apologized for getting in front of someone in a swinging door...it was her reflection.

Excellent show! Met Paul Gross at a fundraiser. Very nice gentleman. He should have a romantic role in a TV series.
